Can anyone suggest a cheap nd easy way of keeping a bait clipped to the weight when OTG casting. I'm just using a the lead links that have a bait clip as well currently.
 
i just use a bit off wire dose the trick for me m8 never have problem OTG casting;)

Imagine this marra (nee camera)

18 inch hook snood fixed
30 inches above ya sinka
before ye tie the sinka on
get another hook an heat
it up cut the barb off
and thread it LOOSE
on the sinka drop.

before ya hoy out like
tak a coupla turns of the
sinka droppa rund the
barbless hook shank
eye pointin' downawa
and barbless bit upawa
(I'm sure ye can work
the rest out)

sometimes dis'nt always
release propa like try
trapping hook snood on
a swivel between 2 beads
about 3 inches apart or
ye can clart about with
shape of the barbless
hook bend if ya like

Just buy me a pint

imps have used them nee botha for otc....m waiting to try them solos me self...hope sand doesnt become an issue .try imps u can get a five pack for bagnall and kirkwoods for about 1.70

Try the outcast clip there similar to the Gemini ones where the hook clips in and only comes out as you cast oh and I think they are cheaper
 
is there any local shops(gateshead/south shields/sunderland) where i can get either tthe splash downs or outcasts today?
