Hendon Tonight

Mad Rob asked me if I fancied Hendon tonight and couldn't resist so met him down there, The sea was big but fishable, After a couple of casts Chris who I work with also come down and within minutes my rod went crazy, Managed to get it to the side with the big swells and Rob handballed it up for me a nice codling of 4lb 2oz

Literally within 5 minutes Rob had a good fish on also which I handballed up for him and weighed in at 5lb 1oz



Chris pulled in 4 sized Codling all around 1 & 1/2 lb and also lost a monster when he got hung up
There was loads fishing, The lad who was next to us pulled a good one in which looked around the same size as mine and seen another good fish further down, I had to leave around 8:30 but Rob and Chris stayed so hopefully they pulled more out
Someone near us pendulum casting with loads of cars and people about and also had a crack off at one point...I was expecting my car or someone to be hit...Glad it never happened

Went to check this spot out for the first time today at low tide on the advice of a bloke at rat house. After this and toonboy's recent success think I might have to have a crack at it.

Great session lads. Good to see a decent stamp of fish comiing out for you. Weeknights are out for me I'm afraid and that seems to be when the better fish have turned up.

I can't wait to get my first cod session in. I just wish the sea would get away on the weekend cos it's the only time I can fish.
