Hi all,


Fished the heugh pier lastnight from 7:30 till 11:30- canny sesh with plenty of whitey and flattys. even managed 2 whitey on 1 hook

Sea was fairly flat so not much hope of codling. Tried fishing just past the gate casting towards the rocks in the hope of a red cod but no joy. Moved up to the end and it was none stop after that, nothing special but good fun. Ended up with around 30 whitey, 10 flatty's, 1 coaly and a codling of about 6ounces. All fish returned.

Fished with 2 rods, baits used where lug, rag, frozen crab and squid.

Let's hope the fish are biting when we go down on Saturday, I swear I'm going to jump in after them if I don't catch a fish soon.

Most of the whities round there are wormed anyway. Have a look at the guts they have pocked marks on the liver.
