heugh today 2/12

just back from the heugh, fished from 2 till 7 this evening about 20 rods out only saw 1 codling landed , not that many whiting also,but the ones that where caught where between 1 and 1 and a half lbs managed 5 so am quite happy [our lass makes a great fish pie with them with loads of melted cheese on top can't wait]

i was on there from about 9 lastnight til about 3 thismornin then moved up to the light hose only managed 2 codling for about 1lb just after low water
