So how does the original poster know this was NE fishermen? If he was there and seen it, why didn't he say anything? Ok we have our share of tools fishermen who leave crap lying round at marks but would i like to think that lads who go on away trips like this are quite serious anglers and know the unwritten rules. No doubt locals seen and were talking to them while they were there but not there when they packed up and left the mess ect ect

Fair enough if locals seen and spoke to them etc. Goes to prove then that all the stick the macky bashing chavs round here that get blamed for almost all the crap that's left on marks are not always guilty. bad crack like but NE anglers have got to take it if were doing it! Very disappointed.

Bang out of order, seems to be common though - was still water fishing up at fontburn a few weeks back and the amount of line and junk people were leaving was unreal. it doesn take muck to take a bag and dump all your rubbish in it to take away with you!

There has been a bit of enquiring on Facebook between the Ramsay club and the locker, looks like it was definitely someone from the North East. The locals are not best pleased to say the least, hope they don't tar us all with the same brush. Safe to say that none of us want anything to do with people that would do something like this. Absolute disgrace.

There was a post last week on the locker, lad going on about a trip to isle of man, some mates, in car and van etc.

Since the Ramsey club posted the **** tip that was left, the locker post has been deleted.

Maybe unrelated, but does sound dodgy like.
