Tried the beach in the hunt for the elusive Ray. Fished 2 up 1 down about 200yards north of where you hit the beach. Tried short and long with crab but no bites. A coley about half a pound on rag saved the blank.

So an early failure but I will be back to try again on the next big tide.

Any tips most welcome.

More seem to show on night tides mate. Try squid, bluey and sand eels as well as crab.
