First match of the winter season.
Sea conditions-Flat calm.
With the sea being flat,didnt hold out much hope of any codling showing up but with a big tide hoped the whiting would put in an appearance.As things turned out this wasnt to be.The results are as follows-(whiting=31cm)
1st-Darren Thompson-2 fish,1 whiting,1 codling= 2lb-2oz(HF codling 1lb-08oz)
2nd-Paul Raison-3 fish,whiting= 1lb-12oz
3rd-Nathan Lee-2 fish,whiting= 1lb-11oz
All in all it was a poor night with lots of swimmer crabs eating your bait.Roll on next week.Lets hope things improve.
Everyone fishing fished horden beach,with the lonesome codling coming from tommys rock.

Only 10 of us fished.Due 2 the time we were fishing(10pm-4am) their would have been a few more lad's, also blaming the conditions as it was flat calm.Yes Alan,Mick is away he comes back 2 day i think!
All but 1 weighed in,and that lad went home half way thru the match,said he couldn't take any more.lol.Didn't blame him.it was really poor.bait was cleaned off within 10 mins.reckon it will b the same this weekend,weathers not looking 2 good.looks like flat sea's and feeding crabs again.
