well fished off horden today my 1st club match as a member went well with a cod 3rd cast 5lb4oz finished 1st did lose another good fish straight after got hung up on way in and lost fish when me rotten bottom snapped

Well done on getting fish and a good result.

Strange that you lost a fish when your rotten bottom snapped.
The whole idea of a rotten bottom is so you can get your fish back when losing your lead in a snag.

Must be some nice fish about, I also fished at Horden in the Easington Club Open on the same day, and caught a nice 5lb 6oz codling along with a 2lbr...only got third heaviest fish though lol still £100 better than nowt

Aye heaviest was 7lb 2oz, 2nd 5lb8oz 3rd 5lb 6oz...........all good enough to win on another day
