Century Carbon Metal Black Bird - the best beach rod money can buy - I have three of 'em! Would never part with them. Zziplex don't even come close to Century, both in quality, performance and build!!

hi there john, wots a floppy woppy! i just ment to point out that lots of people in n.e. says ziplex are floppy and they prefer a quality rod like a century. i've heard some good reports about raptors and wr300 and how good they castand how reliable they are. cant be bad if dan mockshops uses 1.

a blindman with crabs could tell you that any zippy is far superior quality wise than ANY other make, not just century but i do say that century rods or their action do seem to appeal to a lot of people. BUT IN MY OPINION the ulimate craftmanship of terry carrol just isnt there. and:thumbup: made in BRITAIN.
MR PENN 525 likes his big bluebirds and thatts ok as i seem to have upset him elsewhere , but then again i'm not the owner of a 300yd badge, nor do i get century or any other rods for free, so i can have an honest opinion !! can't i john:thumbup: :thumbup:

martin nie prob i twigged on a while ago summit fishy about your first post i read i knew there was a rabbit away. did you not fancy blackpool today i think harry is fancying it a bit, got a zti here now been told they are the new xtr they do seem similar. every body has there own opion on rods as you say i do prefer zzipies but do go off the rails occasionaly we all have our faults.r u going to give me some lessons then i want to chuck 300yds as well

john, known davie hancock for 15 yrs, aint seen him since last year though, was having loads of trouble with his back for years though, salt of the earth , top bloke. ps i'm retiring from thinking about goin to the odd comp. too much lower back trouble divvent want to make worse, so i,m no longer a BIG TOSSER ha ha:thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

hi martin, you not a big tosser i am not but wish i was, i asked you a few years back about hancock thought you never knew him. i was davys drinking pal for years till he could,nt keep up with me ask him he said i had no throat ,i am a sad sod what a waste drink cant do it now just a couch tatie now,barnie has left you a message about rod i have lost your number
