I caught this on Sunday without the aid of a net. This is only for us safety conscious professional mariners with 30+ sea fishing years experience, and should not be tried by amateurs.

For the observant, the 6/0 Oshaugnessy is tied with a tucked blood loop to 40lb mono

ive got a few photos of anglers with hooks in certain places
even insano jackson got a trebble stuck in his arm at portpatrick a few weeks ago
my mate had a 6/0 sakuma manta extra in his lip
ive had a montana nymph in my eyelid it was only a size 16 hook
but it hurt a bit
ive also pulled a 6/0 oshaghnassy out of berts staffys paw

but i would say keiths the record weight tho

I'm just a lightweight 11 odd stone, but as the picture verifies was caught on light tackle (but deeply hooked!), to small too push through so had to rip it back out the way it went in

Ayyyaaaassss!!! thats got to hurt like hell, nearly as bad as that last time i got kicked in the nuts when i asked our lass if i could go out with the lads for a few pints!
sless, who was it that got the hook in the lip? Im sure it was someone i know and it was recent.
