My grandson Lewis (4) with his first ever trout on his first ever fishing trip. Which just truned out to be the biggest of the trip. I knowing that you should never take kids fishing did not fish, his dad did and as expected could not catch a bigger one.

New Mills Trout Farm, just took him there for his first time, 3lb line on a fly reel & size 12 hook, cool as a cucumber he was. Would have gone to South Linden but they have had an otter prblem and will not be re opening their family lake till Sunday. He caught two on his own and assisted with a copuple of others and expertly netted two without any help.
