I fished Tynemouth beach one winter morning, low tide about 5am, and caught a couple of codling in the Barge Bottom. At the bottom of the tide 2 guys came down and lifted a long line they\'d dropped between the Barge and the Toilets the tide before. They had 2 fish one double figures.
