Info on Beadnell

Has anybody been fishing up at beadnell in the last week? If so what bait is working best as i'm going up there next week. My dad is working down near the harbour and said there has been loads of people fishing off the point every day this week.

The only bait that is likely to catch at Beadnell is fresh peeler / frozen crab. If you intend to fish the weed beds you should get some red cod. If fishing from the beach you might get some flatfish on worm baits.

Fished Nacker Hole last weekend and got nowt.

You might be better going to Seahouses.

Cheers lads. I'll prob be up there for a few days so i'll give both a go. There has been some nice cod taken that won a couple of comps up there but i think they were at Seahouses. I have got a lovely spot for pollock if all else fails.
