Depends how far you want to go. Loch Etive has been fishing ok, with Spurs and the odd thorny. If you want to do something really different, try the pier at Lochaline (make sure your reels are full to the brim - its 200+ feet deep 50 yds out!), you'll get dogfish, possibility of spurs, conger and rays.

had some good nights up there when i was 18 19 years old fishing the ferry on the far dide then in the pub that never seemed to shut, even got off the with the landlords daughter, what could be better. fishing, beer, and girls lol
used to fish gair loch and loch long which was great fun but have heard all those places are fished out now, what a shame cos it was great up there.
