Anybody got any tips for unblocking heads on an Epson???

Printer/ScannerCopier is only 13months old but won't print black.

cover in petrol and set fire to it, when it takes the house out as well, add the printer to the insurance claim and get a new one

they are a nightmare to clean, got a 6 colour one here and the light magenta is bunged up

If its not too bad, cotton buds and methanol to to try and dissolve the globbets of ink in the print head

50/50 though, sometimes it works sometimes doesn't. managed to clean mine a few times, but its now totally bunged up. If I didn't have dozens of cartridges for the thing It would have gone the journey already, soon as I've used the cartridge stockpile it going out the door though

Just blasted it with Isopropanol spray, that didn't work so I pushed a tube over the nozzle that cartridge sits over and syringed some more in, that didn't work so I'm off for some petrol

leave loads of isoprop' soaking for a bit, and give it a whirl then

its a common fault with epsons

Tonight's IT Nightmare - new router!!!!

Bought a 8 port router from ebay (99p ) as ran out of wired ports downstairs and world war 3 with the kids over the netgear router upstairs. When the littleun turns her laptop on it disconnects the lads PS3 & vice versa, so thought I'd run another cable to downstairs for his lordship.

The new router is a linksys, direct replacement for my 4 port job or so I thought, been farting on for over 3 hours and still don't know what I did to get it all working, but working it is!!!!

Might be cheaper to get rid of the kids and hire a typist Keith.
