Could anyone tell me if I would need extra insurance for my fishing stuff or will the house insurance cover it..I normally keep my gear in the shed which is joined onto the house ...
your house insurance covers your gear if its stolen from your shed, accidental damage is a different ball game, think you need sporting insurance but theres ways and means ,it might be worth telling the insurance company if its of exeptional value I know if a Bike is say for example over £500 in value you have to inform them,as a rule i keep my gear in the house,I clean it,leave it in the shed overnight then put it in the house the next morning, gets rid of some of the smell
funny someone should post about insurance today as i was going to post about a link on this site for tackle insurance.i went on it and put my details in etc and went to the next stage and it says \"sorry we cant do sea angling at this time\" or words to that effect, are we all classed as crooks or something when we cant get insurance for sea angling but they cover all the other forms of angling. f*****g p****d me of big time
An insurance company that I was with used to insure my gear for loss or accidental damage on my house insurance had a few claims paid out years ago.
Unfortunately she who must be obeyed changed it without saying a word so havn\'t a clue now :casstet: :casstet: .
