I had a look down Roker sea front this afternoon and it looked like it had flattend off quite a bit. Aleast the white tops had vanished.

Is anyone going to give it a run out in on Saturday?

I am tempted but a bit 50 /50 so to speak.

Advice appreciated so if it's a NO then the pop can flow tonight :) and my be a little indan takeaway. ;)

No Sat, maybe Sunday thou if its rain and a choppy sea i rather stay on land so wont bother...will check 12 noon update sat regarding fishing Sunday.
 
same here rich ....... will have a look saturday evening for maybe a trip out sunday .... maybe ...

Its a pain this, if we had a spell of flat seas i would not of given fishing in the rain with a not so good sea but after only 2 trips in 17 days i am thinking...mmrrr if its lumpy i may or if its flat and rain i may....what to do err :)

Im owt on sunday on the warlord hope the weathers stays fine though , canny few fish being brought in these past few weeks

Time 4.45am lying in bed thinking "I wonder what the Roker web cam is showing."

I think a bit more

"Sod it i'm getting up to have a cuppa and look at the post on Nesa, see if anyone going out."

OK I've decded I'm definately still 50\50

Well if i had was not already busy today and i would 100% out at sea right now, sea has dropped away to nothing over night since that wind has stopped, i thnk i would have got from 6am until about 2pm before it turns again...shame i am busy now...always Sunday for same time check :)
 
I'll give you's all a wave at 3pm if we fly over whitley on Sunday on my way to Spain:D. Maybe those dam easterlies might of gone by the time I get back, aaaaaaaaand the macky might be showing:o:D, but there again, it might be blowing northerly's, or calm with thick fog;) or even worse, you lot could have caught all the fish, or all the wrecks netted:o. I'm just not going to relax on this holiday am I!

I cant decided, the weather forecast is saying to me dont go out but instinct is saying go for it...as for rain...its fair to say its going to lash down.....what to do what to do...final call 1pm today.
 
Well I got as far as the Pier break water. The swell was a about 5ft

Turned round and went for a run down the river instead.

A little disappointing but still fun.
 
Well canny time at the toon match today, so staying out the rest of the night now...Friday will be the next trip out and if that weather is right its flat seas and west winds :)
 
we got out on sunday from amble the sea was fishable but very hard work just trying to stand up on the boat or sit down for that matter.

didnt do as well as expected i managed 4 cod and 1 pollock

atleast it was a blank eh !!!!

Good that you got out, i cant wait for fishing Friday, Sat,Sun and Monday, west winds so its a go go go unless weather back tracks.

Aye just pleased to get out shame about the fish though
