i was thinking of having a spinning sesh over the rocks at hartlepool marine drive for some pollock one day when its sunny or would i just be wasting my time any tips all so appreciated

not someting you will see happening there. but....... going by recent reports it could be worth a chuck.

i intend to try a few spots myself when conditions are right.
