had to use me bait up that i had left from the meet so decided the marina but when i got there some lads had beat me to the mark i fancied..didnt fancy church bank so headed down jarra park.
got-one of me rods set up and put a bait out.got the 2nd rod out me little spinning one and no sooner had it settled in the water than had me 1st fish of the afternoon,just as i got it in and about to lift it up the wall the little critter decided it didn't like daylight and lept off the hook n swam away,oh well baited and put it back out,and the other rod give a good knock.reeled into somit then it seemed to go slack until 20 feet away and the fish went daft and headed deeper into the water.
get in good sized flatty,
couple more knocks but didnt connect with most of um annd lost a few just next to the wall where a load of got iz hung up.lost one which was a good size codling n got a small one as well.
little later got me second flatty out smaller than the other but a welcome catch anyway.
another canny day for me but i wish i could land some more decent sized one,s.
