Bert, Gary and myself fished the first SSBAC comp of the year this morning, left the club moorings at 8am and had to be back at 1pm.

Bert worked his magic and we ended up with 49 codlings biggest 6.5lb.

All fish caught on bait, mixtures of black lug, squid, mussel & bluey.

I pipped Bert for first place by 0.2lb - Sorry mate :red: We both had bags of over 55lb and Gary had 19lb.

Thank you both for a fantastic morning fishing.

Its one of ower better catches for this time of year and the crab aint had there backs off yet ! thats when the catches improve .......cant wait
