kayak fishing 2/6/10

Decided to head out for a quick session this morning, and with a calm sea and little wind forecast, things looked promising, launched at marsden bay for 10am, however the fishing was very slow, and with plenty of colour in the water, the fish didnt seem interested. Tried a few patches of ground off souter and whitburn, and after a couple of small codling managed a decent fish of 4lb 6. The wind then increased, making the drift too fast so it was time for home. With a decent forecast for the next few days, hopefully the water will clear up, and the fishing will improve.
A few pics of today.
