Headed out for a few hours yesterday morning, i decided to try a new venue and launch at latimers. Launched about 07:30 and was into fish from the word go with small coley and bait fish on the first few drops quickly followed by a nice little Ballen Wrasse.

after that it was all about the codling, i managed about 10 ranging from 1 to about 3.5lb with some double shots as well.

I also managed a couple of Mackerel.

Had a bit of a play with my gps when i got home and worked out i can download my tracks onto google earth.

Good report mate well done. Ive had a few different gps trackers over the years and always found sharing the files a chow, so well done getting it onto google maps too

It was surprisingly easy to do, on google earth there's a option t do it and it plitted the info of my Garmin with ease. It also time stamps everything so you can tell where you were and when, and now that ive synchronised the time stamp on my camera i should be able to tell where my fish were caught without having to worry about adding waypoints while in fishing. That's the plan anyway lol

I'm just thinking about buying a kayak. What do you think of the ocean prowler? Also what clothing do you use when on the water?

I've got a Prowler (second hand), cant fault it. Clothing wise I've have a dry suit and a shorties wet suit for when its hot. The shortie only set me back about £30. As the previous post, join KFUK, cracking forum and some good info.
