Looking to get a kayak for next year but wanted a rough idea of how much for everythink inc kayak 2 rods reels etc ect

Any help would be great

Depending on what you want, up to a £1000 second hand.Far better do your research on yak, gear etc before buying, if possible try before you buy as what suits one person may not suit another.

Basic Kit.
Kayak 13' min
Kayak trolley
Paddle
PFD
VHF Radio
Dry Suit or wet suit or cag.
I've caught more cod from my yak since buying it than from the shore and not far off either. It's a great day out and a lot of people from the North East are taking it up.
If you want to have a chat and have a look at my gear drop me a PM.

Place in cullercoats hires them out by the hour, worth having a go before you buy.
I did but I cudnt get confidence in being so close to the water
But definately gonna give it another go next summer

certainly worth trying out a few to see what suits you , depends what you want to do in it stay close to shore or hit the wrecks minimum 13ft yak to be able to take a bit of rough sea
plenty second hand yaks about ,no need to buy new should get a complete set up for around the 8 to 9 hundred mark this time of year as a lot dont go out in the winter and sell up anglers afloat is about the best for buying and selling yaks ,but be prepared to travel to get your yak as there is a lot more bargains to be had further south jeff
