keeping lugworm fresh ?

Hi

I am digging some lug on Friday and need to keep it fresh for fishing on Saturday. Anyone able to advise how to keep it alive/fresh in the heat (hopefully!) ? Are they best kept in sea water ?

i just keep mine in fresh newspaper in the fridge limit them to about 15/20 worms per 5/6 sheets of newspaper should be fine untill saturday mate

yup newspaper works for me, i tried saltwater and had loads burst

Keep them in the fridge but keep checking them,same as Gazza 15 to 20 or less if you have loads of room

i keep mine in a drizzel of sea water keep for weeks as long as u change water dailey

No what you mean Paul lol,you could use a old fridge in your shed or garage,theres plenty around

We got one of those little (beer cooler) fridges for keeping bait in.
Keeps the bait fresh.........and the Mrs. happy.....lol

stick your damp newspaper in an empty box she\'ll be non the wiser
