Mick, in all seriousness get my number off Ian and give me a ring before the weekend. It's not as daunting as it is made out. I'll not give away trade secrets but basic beach fishing is all it is.

Anyway yous not had a team gang bang yet. You'll find the fishing at the nationals is serious but the drinking is intense haha :D

aye thats right peter the last time we were in dover i recall you making some pretty patterns on the pavement outside the hotel!!!;) two shandy's and your anyone's. p.s. keep an eye on your trousers this time!!

I know all about the seriousness after we did the police boat compos at Weymouth last year-never seen out like it. I let myself down a bit was still in the hotel bar 1 am in the morning on the same day as the compo-funny enough felt ok on the boat.

Wonder if the tackle shops set up a "trade fair " in the hotel-they made a killing last year flogging you stuff you would never dream of buying.

Had some good info from some lads via wsf forum. Looks pretty much the same as up here.

Sea trout and Salmon do not score points (why not).

Have to have a shock leader on. If not 50lb line all the way through. Elf and safety.
 
CODONLY: He may well be the only one taking fresh crab..............we have ordered our 400 to collect down there.....lol

Goin down on Mon. 16 seater for the four ov us, so if u want sum gear takin down or even ya bait let me know...ha ha .The last time I went out with a curry with you lot ended up on the village green at Ponteland, and you still charged me a tenner lol :p So its beer and curry then....

Don't worry the trousers are at the cleaners and funnily enough every time I go now I double and treble check I've got a FULL suit haha.

Drove past that s**thole Gateway Hovertel last week to see it's nicely boarded up. Got to be one of the worst digs I've ever had. Even Greg apologised when I mentioned it :)

Mick don't worry if you need any last minute stuff, there's 2 tackle shops within 5 minutes of the hotel and 3 in Dover inside ten minutes drive.
 
I would like to buy some crab and ragworm. Would much prefer to buy down there than have to transport down. Got a feeling rag will go off even in my cooler box.

bendy rod??? lol its a match rod! it was a £300 rod when i got it, you would think it was a £20 floppy crap rod the way your talking ha ha

Flatheed...Ive just had to go to hospital after tripping ova them Used nappys in ya back yard, It was like being on patrol in the Gorbals ov Glasgow again..Solicitors letter is on its way :o
