King Edwards Bay Saturday Night

With the wind being as strong as it was my brother and I fished King Edwards Bay Tynemouth because it is quite sheltered by the cliffs around it.
Sea was really flat. fished from 9pm-2am (couple of hours either side of high tide)
Tried virtually every bait, lug,rag,peeler,black lug,razor in various concoctions but all we managed was a small rockling and a 8 inch whiting.
Better than blanking I guess
Have some worms left so may go out for a couple of hours tonight

Mate and I were going there friday night, then went to Whitley Beach instead. There isn,t much anywhere at the moment. At least you tried. Going again tues night if sea roughens up a bit.

I was there with a mate on friday lovely relaxing evening, nothing but a small coalie, fished the river on the quay and that was a lot more productive,
