A cracking day today me and the stepson went out from the Marina Sunderland about midday, turned right fished hard ground opposite hendon drums a few mile out first drop we were into them just drifting then moving back to same spot had 14 good cod ranging from 3 pound to 5 1/2 pound and loads od coalies. All small stuff went back we even got a herring used for bait. Best day we have had so far loving this Boat fishing.

Well done mate nowt better than catching decent cod, there had been mackerel caught half a mile off the pier end on tuesday.....happy days.

well done mate you are doing a lot better than me at the moment.

I might give it a try today for a few hours see if my run of bad luck is about to change and i can hit into a little patch of fish.
