Tried Hartlepool again today, took my girlfriends little\'un with me he\'s only four,fished from about ten till two on the pilot pier, not a thing doin between about six of us av resigned myself to the fact am gonna have to travel up over or down towards Redcar for a better chance of some sport.PS Thanx a lot to the mindless tossers who decided to smash lager bottles all over the place the bairn loved havin to tiptoe through it all to see the sea!!!

Try the Steetley Pier in Hartlepool mate, it\'ll save you a journey. High water early in the morning for plenty of mackeral, or bait fish anytime for flatties.
