Went down to whitley beach on sunday gone, was suprised to see that there was not many down, i did not go with much bait after a bad season last year and not a great start this year, on the friday bafore last sunday, I took live peeler the lot with nowt. So i tackled up and opened my 1 pack of frozen black and one pack of razor, i hit my first good fish for a long time on my first cast. I fished on for a while before i had another really good bite, by this time a guy was standing next to me talking to me, I picked the rod up and felt a real good fish but it was soon gone. Had a couple of more bites through the 4/5 hours i was there, had one more on and lost it too. But nothing could dampen my spirits with this fish on top of my box. Thanks to the guy next to me who offered me bait for a few more casts.
