lead again

Well i have been going throught some lead with Dave lending me some new moulds.I just bought some lead and it cost me £2 a stone..does anyone know if i can get it any cheaper in and around Gateshead area?

£2 a stone! Why do you get your lead Ritchie? I thought I was getting it cheap (clean flashing mind) but that\'s a good deal better than I can get it for.

Roonys at felling.I paid £1.50 per stone last year its gone up

2 quids not bad at all most places want at least 4,i get mine for peanuts but i know the lad who gets it,sometimes not the best in the world but it soon cleans up

go and see you local tyre balancer, the weights they take off get used by a friend oof ours for casting leads, he gets the lead free and the weights are good.

Rich if you want your lead any cheaper you going to have to nick it.

Looks like your just going to have to stick your hand in your pocket and spend your pennies.

Cheapest I managed anywhere was about £2 per stone, which I thought was good value

i normally pay about 4 a stone and it is manky like someones razor , half a pan lead half a pan crap, still cant catch fish .
