Couple of scrap yards in Gateshead do the lead with out the paper work..wont post it on here thou.

lol just the 1 but for 2 of us for probably 2 sessions. Lost a load of gear last session including all sinkers & pirks, so gonna stock up this time. Are any of the ones at Gateshead open right now or is it halfday on Sat?,i tried ringing a few but various but nay answer

Best to go late Friday afternoon, get the pick of the fresh cut lead from the builders etc..drinking money for the weekend.

got old pipes but i am miles away from you ...got them out of the ground when they were doin some works

I hate using piping for lead melting, had some very close calls using the stuff as any trapped water or dirty flys out like a gun.

I had a melt at the weekend ut just a top up 37 10oz leads and 12 8oz pirks so about 4 boat trips worth.
