just been to one in Hartlepool today and he said that he can't sell lead

thats strange ive been to jebbs metals in walker a few times and bought part rolls with out any problems!

What is the going rate for now lead?

I was told about £1.50 per kilo but I've never actually bought it before so I stand to be corrected

I thought it was more expensive than that, when the price of scrap metal went through the roof.

not all scrap dealers have a licence to sell lead, i beleieve its currently £1 40 a kilo at jj stanley at swalwell

Thankfully Slinky is pretty much covered for lead this season...and not at £1.40 a kilo thank crivvens!

Just looked on ebay, lead flashing about 70-72kg £40 £50.00 buy it now.
no bids.

that lead on ebay is pick up only down south
