Led lenser h7r headlight

I'm looking to buy a new headlight and would like to know if anyone is currently using the Lenser H7R headlamp? Is it any good? I see they retail at around £50 so is it worth the money? Cheers, Mike

paid 30 quid for my h7 and im just using rechargeable batterys and its spot on always in my box as backup just incase i need it. iv used it for fishing all night over the summer and cant fault it. perfect little light cant go wrong dont know if id pay 50 quid for 1 tho check ebay thats where i got mine for 30 with free delivery.

i bought mine from lewis dont think i payed 50 qiud for it go out doors sell's them too good lamp 4 back up iv used it many time instead ov me big lamp good on the batts too worth the money 1oo%

£37.00 new on ebay, i use the H7R and cant fault it.

Thanks for the info lads and the link Davy. I see Gerry's are selling it at £54.99 and they have said it's an updated model for 2010 with a rechargable battery set - so maybe that's why the higher price. I'll get one off the Ebay link you posted. Cheers once again!

I,ve got one of these and its excellent. Its the older type which takes 3 normal batteries. They last a canny time. The light is very strong and can be focused into an intense beam-ideal for me as i need reading glasses now so i can struggle with baiting up etc If the light is good i can manage ok without the glasses.

Cheers Mick - I'm just about to order one. It's the newer version that is retailing at around 50 notes due to the built in rechargeable battery set but if the batteries last a while like you say I'll just go for the one posted by Davy.
