Ive just ordered some off the net sick of paying a pound in tackle shops fpr a daft one, are the battery led ones any good or do they run out after an hour or so?

hi i have mk 4 tip light and they good don't use to many bats if you get the good ones

only problem i find is that every now and the it gets no connection and needs a little tap

what kind are you looking at ?
delta are quite good also glow bug but once the battery dies on the glow bug its finished

I use the ones with the orange card over the bag. There a bit too bright for the first couple of hours but spot on after that. The one I've got now must have done 50 hours fishing on cheap batteries from the local hardware store.

It doesnt really say just led tip lights that require batteries

I used a tiny led one last night. Cant remember brand but was £3.50 or there abouts. Up to 20hrs on the battery. Kinda bright when we were out for 5hrs last night. Certainly no where near spent.

When it's done the light holders just the right size for the chuck away glow rods, 2 in a pack for 60p in amble.

Lost the end cap on mine - now use Blue Tack - works a treat

Pound shop - 20 Glo sticks for a quid.
