hi is the leeda icon match sport any good or should I go for a rt axe cheers

I don't think thy are the same sort of rod, Axe is probably closer to an icon ultra power.


I have an old model icon power and its a nice blank, shame the rings are made of chocolate and break every time you knock them. Its handled fish up to 15lb and double shots of 6-7lb cod no problem though.

I have the leeda icon M SPORT match spot on , also had the icon power good all round rod for the price
if you are after just a rock rod go for the icon M SPORT ultra power

just the coasters are crap just fit a ABU reel lock seat 28mm

Yeah, the match sport rod is more for clean ground.

I've ordered the icon power a couple of weeks ago but ended up getting the ultra power as the last power they had in stock was broken.

I've been out with the ultra power a couple of times and I like it. I wasn't sure how sensitive the tip would be but seems spot on to me
