At this time of year and off of shields pier either 18lb or 15lb F1 mate

Depends where I'm fishing. For beaches and clean - mixed ground .35mm - 15lb in most line and 18lb in F1. Going to start experimenting with 100lb braid for rough ground use, comes in at about .40mm I think so about the same as 20lb mono. Will be intersting to see how it goes.

alreet mate, i use 30lb ultima distance straight through, i fish mainly on the rocks and no need to cast any distance hence why i dont use a shock leader. Oh and if anyone knows where i can get some more i would appreciate it.

Mostly Sufix Tritanium or Profish Ghostline: little reels for clean ground & the river - 0.35mm / 15lb. Mixed ground on my "20" size reels - 0.40mm / 20lb & heavy ground "30" size reels - 0.50mm / 30lb. Also have a couple of slosh 30's loaded with 0.60mm / 45lb for when I want to fish without a leader (got some monstro-spool of Fladen Vantage 45lb as a table prize some time ago & it's surprisingly good for a cheap line).
