The rules for the charity match..

One rod only
2 hooks max
One fish per angler
One prize per angler
All baits allowed

The following fish won't count for weigh in... Wrasse, Rays Bream, Shads, Mackerel, Eels,Herring,Dragonets,Blennies,Rockling,Lumpsuckers,Sea Scorpions.

Minimum fish sizes- Rays 46cm across from wing tip to wing tip. Bass 36cm, Cod,Coalfish,pollock,hake,brill,turbot and witches 35cm. Flounders,whiting,plaice and dabs 30cm. All other fish must not be less than 30cm long (measured from nose to tip of tail).

Juniors anglers under 16 to be accompanied by an adult.

This is a charity event. Enter at your own risk. Fish safe and be aware of public around you. Happy fishing

I've just been and got my ticket. I'm looking forward to this cos I haven't fished any sort of comp before. I'll probably blank like but it'll be ok.

I would like to thank Anth Constable for his massive efforts in organising this event i know its took up a lot of his time but im sure when he sees the turnout and the smile on little Derek and familys faces it will all be worth it.
