and was brave enough to go down and pull a fish up for his mate weighing 9 lb 4 drams
well he went there tonight and he won the cleadon club match with a cod of 9 lb 4 oz

thanks all,its about time i lifted one out for myself.it was a pleasure to lift stu's out last week in the open,but this feels a little better cos it was in a club match and you get double the weight on anything over 6lb plus i was on me tod.as soon as i seen it my legs went a little bit like jelly but the owld conoflex diablo stood firm once again.thanks also to sless who i rang 5 mins after i landed it talking jibberish(got your camera in the van,no why,ive got one about the same as stus last week,i ok i'll get it for you,ta).thanks very much graham the grand bairn thinks im "COOL" cos im on the net

Well done steve i was luckin forward to a curry when paul harra got his and we thought we were a few quid in! Like paul said to me in the club afterwards "if he (steve) had weighed one in of 4lb 1oz id have been gutted, but to be beaten by a fish like that i dont mind cos its a belter!" There were plenty off the rocks and cliffs last nite aswell, i lifted a 6lber for Geordie Cooper who was fishing a Shields club match aswell. Does anybody know if he won it? Roll on friday night!!!!
