low water marks

a was going to fish the back of st marys at low water, but low water is at 2.00 in the after noon do you think it will still produce fish

There's a canny sea running there now - I think you'd be better fishing West Bay skeer, it'll probably be a bit big over on the island.

Gary :)

cheers mate is that fishing in to the gully between the skeer and the island or fish straight out in front

Best to fish either into West Bay, from the flat rocks on the left hand side about 2/3 the way up the skeer (chucking towards Hartley) or you can fish straight off the end. Chucking into the gully on the right (Crisps) is very heavy & hard work and better fished from the island. Only downside today is it's a very small tide and you might not get much time on the skeer (sometimes it's barely uncovered) - you might be better off fishing into West Bay from the Hartley side, from the Cresant skeer next to Hartley Island. Should be fish in that area today
