Three of us headed down at 10.30pm pier was empty bit of an s/eastly sea on got set up on the end second cast got slack liner thought was good fish but as soon as struck into it new was not a big one coddie about 1.3/4lb thought well its a start knocks for three of us straight after but couldn't connect then went dead and that was the only fish took
One other lad turned up but had nothing when we left at 2.45am wind had picked up so headed home still got sixty lug to use so St peters tomorrow flatty bashing

It's very quiet at the minute mate better luck at st peters I fished the river yesterday and blanked

Still a cod mate better than blanking not much getting caught I'm off to roker pier today with the kids so hopefully a Coddy may be about

Plenty sport at St peters mate but only to tommys and flattys but good on light gear
