Ended up on the river today just to get away from the wind, fished that short promenade just upstream of where you go onto the Rathouse, not sure what it is called. Poor really. Persevered for an hour with big baits crab and lug but small fish rattling at them all the time. Put a flapper on with size 2's and caught 3 little tommys and a coley. Still, nice to be out.
