Woo Hoo !!! :):):)

Table updated.

Just a quick note, i had a picture of a Scorpion Fish (Granny Fish) sent to me by Carl (i'll wait till he posts before i update the table) but couldnt tell from the picture wether it was a short spinned or long spinned, can anyone else who gets one take a picture of its underside, the best way to identify them is by the Gill Plate. If there is no picture of the underside it'll be asumed that it is the more common Long Spinned Sea Scorpion.

Went down to the pier tonight just for some fun and got this little fella along with a hand full of 10 inch long sand eel looking fish. sorry dont know what you call them and the pictures wont upload.

Went to Howick For the week and went fishing a couple of times, once at Dunstanburgh Castle but for a 2 hour walk there I only fished 50 minutes, resulting in 5 nice size coalie, one foul hooked through the eye so I kept it for that reason only. rest release safely.

The next day I got a itch for Micro species. Which resulted in around 4 scorpion Fish, Didn't look for long or short spine but I'll let Phill decide.

Well i know i said if i didnt have a picture of the underside i assume it was long spined, but in this instance i can be sure. You can see a 'barb' at the corner of its mouth, this ids it as a long-spined sea scorpion.

Well done everyone, ill get the table update later.
