lynburn beach

hi all, can anyone tell me has the coal tipping at lynburn totaly stopped,if not are they still tipping the same amounts as last year, any info much appreciated thanks

i had a match on lyne burn beach last weekend there was lots of coal in front of alcan it the first time ive fished the beach so i dont know wat it was like before

I haven\'t seen them tipping for a while tho I have heard they intend to drop a load of rocks all the way round the back where the big rock is as more of a sea defence ...the coal that was on the beach gets washed up usual on a big tide or after theres been a bit sea runnin ...seen it all last week and someone had lit a fire in amongst it... was burning for a few days as the coal there was about three foot deep
