Fished lynburn lastnight 7pm-11pm hard gannin with massive waves and seaweed, my mate still managed a codling 1.5lb and i blanked, just heard from David G there's been a 15lb cod caught there tonight same spot i fished typical, but hey ho beats sittin in the hoose.

yes the fish was 15lb 5oz weighed at the beach i pesume he was were u were steve as sie only ever fishes there the fish was witnessed and weighed by a m8 of mine the best bit was the lad that got it who was with ma m8 was his 1st time fishing now a bet he is hooked.

Well done to him and canny beginners luck lol, that's enough to hook anyone into fishing davy lucky bugger.
Anyway i hope to be out on sat or sun night now probably back down lynburn if all else fails.

Crackin fish that, when I look at how many hours and the baits ive been chucking at boghall and lyneburn and only had fish to 4ib, Suppose thats fishin, the double still alludes me!!!!!

This is true, a local lad whom I HAVE FISHED WITH MANY TIMES (NOT AT ALL HIS FIRST FISHING SESSION ! ), excellent result SIE, asda prawns done the job !

Well wot i do know is that is was not me, but if it was you would know about it and wouldn't here the end of it along with pics from every angle lol as am to yet to catch a double figure from the shore
