Lynemouth 22/12/09

Was sick of christmas shopping, so chanced my arm down at Lynemouth Beach. Fished to the right of the pipe from 7.30 to 10.30. Nothing for the first hour or so, then started to get bites. Ended up with 2x 2.5lb codling, another just undersize and 2 coalies. Probably would have caught more, but was freezing cold and had to be at work for 7 the next morning. Not a bad session. Sea was flat as, and there wasn't another soul there.

well done on getting 2 codling mate i tried cambois pier just undersize stuff

:Good shot mate,how far off the pipe were you,I fished the north end on Sunday just a wee bit past the stream lost a good few rigs and a couple of cod fast up in I think was a dis cared net about 300yrs north of the stream.
Got one cod 2.5lbs out.
Hard going with that snaggy net there.
Gotta wait for a good easterly again to get it shifted.(mite get some of me gear back then:red
