Few and far between those turbot mick" Fished for 35 years and not had a turbot. Good on you.
Well done Mick. Where do you park your car to fish that shot mate?, is the car safe?, is it a shank with all you gear?. Any info appreciated.
turn onto road into alcan,park in the contractors car park on your left
cross the road and keep big blue building on your left,wee bit of a hike,probs best scoped out in daylight.

Funny place to fish Ross last time I was there was a nightmare. Crabbed off every cast, fell over when wading to weed off my line so had wet sleeves all sesh. Struggled to catch out. Then on this day complete opposite. We fished scratching on purpose and I enjoyed myself with by 15 ft rod and fixed spool with braid on. I would say is three quarters of a mile walk to the beach and its not that bad.I had about 7 flounders and my mate 5. I also caught a blemmie.

Canny fish Mick. I've only caught a size Turbot in Ireland when we've fished the comps over there.

Nice fish! I caught one years ago off Steetly pier.. Was about same size as one you had Mick, was still chuffed though.. ☺
