On a more serious (and less amusing) note. been macky reports from mid to late april onwards.

Side note, why not using spinning rod down the piers and rock marks now for coalie and the odd pollock? macky are fun but not worth the onslaught of snapped off lead bombs flying around...

I dunno, consult your daily horoscope, they arrive one a year but only when Saturn aligns with Uranus :) but this yearly phenomenon can alter certain minorities to do strange and somewhat irritating things. It's called "the idiot effect". (watch a film called idiocracy << funny film) anyways back to my point...

Symptoms of the idiot effect include:

Drinking excessively and throwing weights around (with zero skill or care)

Urinating in inappropriate areas

Excessive use of slang and vulgar language.

The need to annoy others by casting over the same persons line and not freekin saying sorry or avoiding doing it.

The sudden need for the phrase "here pal you got any spinners".

Lack of care and respect for fish (throwing or stamping etc)

The need to take your shirt off to show that tacky bulldog or pap tribal tattoo you got to make you look solid.

The inability to read rod ratings and use 4oz weights with a 60grm rating rod. Then try and take it back when it breaks.

The audacity to think your a professional fisherman because you can catch the easiest fish in the sea to catch.

The need to cram right next to someone who is catching mackerel and just annoy him.

This is a NHS health warning. We advise if anyone is experiencing these symptoms you give up fishing for good and stay clear from piers and sea structures for your own saftey. This is life threatening, and could put you in hospital. (depending on who notices these symptoms)

Thank you, where's the fish?
