we where at shields yesterday and there only two macky caught when we were there but loads of coalies,me and my brother had around a hundred between us, all but 5 returned.the same lad caught the 2 macky about 2 hours between each one ,the water was very clear so if the weather holds up it should'nt be that long before the big shoals come in
nowt there but coley most of which are under size, seen 1 or 2 macky caught thats it,if just a little bit of action your after shrimp feather and a spinner produces fish.
