Mackerel yai or nai

Anyone been out in the last 3-4 days? if so any mackerel around in any real numbers? asking as i am having a trip with it being sunny and depending on how many about depends on how many i get out the freezer.

I noticed the water was cleaner last weekend so hoping they stuck around abit longer...always had the odd one into November but last year the 4th of Oct was the last day we got a few for fresh bait.

Cheers i just take a couple then and some hand warmers just need them ling to still be playing.

sunday was quiet only about fifteen fish on the boat but the mackerel were on every wreck all a decent size.

As for the rest you cant catch what are not there but still worth a try, JFK had fish all year around in previous years, for me i call it a day the first real frost.
