Fished the small wall wednesday first light up to top water had 4 macky, couple of launce, 2 herring and dozens of coalies all between 12 to 14 inches, 4 and 5 coalies virtually every cast (about 1 in every 6 were size)
If the weather stays settled and the tide sizes increase over the next few days (the tiny tide on wednesday wasnt the best for macky) the macky should be back in big numbers. September is the best month for them (don't let anyone convince you otherwise) given settled conditions and decent sized tides. Going on shields pier in the morning first light til top water hopefully top my baits up in the freezer.
